About the event
Bring your blankets, chairs, and friends as we gather under the night sky to watch the film Apollo 13 (1995). This film dramatizes the true story of the 1970 lunar mission and the crew’s story of resilience, teamwork, and survival. Late April will be a great time to gaze at the moon with your own eyes, or with one of our telescopes. The film screening starts after the sun goes down at 9:00, but join us at 8:00 for fun activities from community partners. No cost! Preregistration is required for all participants. Please note, this program is weather dependent (rain date April 25).
