About the event
All levels of experience and mobility are welcome to this Qigong class featuring slow movements coordinated with the breath to enhance life force energy. Qi is understood as a "vital energy" circulating through channels in your body called meridians (in Chinese acupuncture) or nadis (in Thai massage). It is said that by purifying and opening these channels and by balancing the flow of energy through them using Qigong, we can maintain and restore proper functioning of our body, mind and emotions. Comfortable clothing recommended. No props used. Participants can stand or sit when doing movements.
