About the event

This session is designed for existing small business owners who are currently generating revenue and are ready to expand into local, state, and federal contracting opportunities. Participants will gain a clear understanding of today’s business certification landscape and how certifications can be strategically leveraged to access government, institutional, and corporate procurement opportunities.

The training will cover certifications such as Minority-Owned, Women-Owned, Veteran-Owned, Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE), HUB, and other applicable programs, and how these designations can strengthen credibility, increase visibility, and support business growth. In addition, this session will address how to leverage certifications during shifts or declines in diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) resources, including strategies for positioning your business within procurement goals, supplier diversity requirements, small business set-asides, and alternative contracting pathways.

Participants will also learn current procurement trends, required documentation, readiness expectations, and practical next steps to prepare for contracting opportunities ranging from small purchase agreements to large-scale contracts.

This workshop is hosted by La-Tasha Best-Gaddy, founder and chief strategist of Infinity Bridges Inc. As a strategic visionary, La-Tasha is dedicated to creating infrastructure that generates legacy, not just income. She has spent decades building systems for small businesses, municipalities, nonprofits, and financial institutions, bridging technical expertise with practical strategy to elevate communities often underestimated or excluded.
