About the event

Please join us for special bonding time with your little one (aged 0-24 months)! At this lapsit-style storytime, we will spend about 20 minutes engaging in structured learning through bounces, rhymes, songs, and books, followed by 15-45 minutes of unstructured play and socialization time.

Note: A television is used during the first part of the program (about 20 minutes) to display the words to the songs and rhymes (to support adult engagement); there are no moving pictures.

Open for all! If you have any accessibility questions or accommodation needs, please contact Lauren at lwise@dconc.gov. We ask that all requests be made at least three (3) business days prior to the event to ensure we can provide the best accommodations possible!

Thank you to the Durham Library Foundation for their generous support in making this program possible.

DPR Outdoor Recreation & Historic Programs staff wants to honor both its beauty and its significance in this important history. Come on a two-mile pride paddle with us. We will provide the equipment; you bring weather-appropriate clothing and closed-toe shoes. Registration is required for all. Ages: 7 yrs +,
