About the event

Read-alouds are for grown-ups too! Join us for a weekday evening adult story time at the North Regional Library. Flop on the carpet with a floor pillow, pull up a chair, or sit at a table if you want to bring your own dinner or snacks. Spend an hour listening to read-alouds from books and stories in the library collection. Tea, coffee, and hot chocolate will be provided.

This month: two short stories from a bulky volume called The Improbable Adventures of Sherlock Holmes. This anthology comprises tales by contemporary authors in the style of the original stories with all the familiar details: the quarters at 221-B Baker Street, the spooky gaslit streets of London, and "inexplicable" situations and phenomena that will be handily navigated by Sherlock and Watson.

(This is the make-up session for January's snow cancellation.)

Registration is appreciated but not required.
