About the event

The purpose of this American Red Cross program is to teach safe behaviors around the water and develop swimming readiness by leading parents and their children in water exploration activities with the objective of having fun and becoming comfortable in and around water. Parent or Guardian are required to enter water during the swim lesson.

Corn Grinding Tours

See the historic gristmill in action! Hear the splash of water on the waterwheel, and join our historical interpreters for a tour inside the mill, where you can watch the millstones at work grinding corn into meal. Please note that space inside the mill is limited, allowing up to 20 visitors at a time. No registration is required for this drop-in program. FREE.
