Using Anna LaQuawn Hinton's Refusing to Be Made Whole: Disability in Black Women's Writing as a guide, participants will engage in thoughtful discussion about the ways disabled voices have been represented, overlooked, and reclaimed in literature. In recognition of Disability Pride Month, this program invites readers to examine storytelling as a powerful tool for visibility, advocacy, and social change.
