About the event

Come to Stanford L. Warren Library for a presentation by The Friends Of Geer Cemetery about the work restoring the historic Geer Street Cemetery, one of Durham’s first burial grounds for the African American public. Together we will learn about the stories of those buried in the cemetery, as well as the ongoing restoration work and archeological discoveries that have been unearthed.
