About the event
Did you know that Beech Bluff County Park and the area across Highway 42 used to have a muscadine vineyard and winery? Come learn more about it and talk with members of the Adams family who farmed this land for seven generations! Some of those grapes are still being grown in the area and we are once again growing them on the land that BBCP sits on. Come learn all about Muscadines, a native species, and if we are lucky, there will be muscadines and muscadine dishes to sample. For those interested, you will even have the opportunity to propagate a cutting to take home with you and try to grow for yourself.
